Philosophy We Strive For

MacDonald Realty Group spreads all across the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. We began seven years ago with our first purchase of a 32 unit complex south of Dallas. Since our first acquisition we have continually closed numerous multi-family and commercial properties all over the DFW area. We now own and operate 13 separate multi-family and commercial office properties totaling 1,500 multi-family apartment units and over 33,000 square feet of commercial office property. Through our efficiency as owners and operators we continue to grow and are constantly seeking new opportunities.

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. MacDonald administers and directs all operational and financial management of the portfolio real estate and has extensive hands-on experience in the management, acquisition, merger, development, and financing of investment grade commercial and multi-family real estate properties. Prior to starting the company, Mr. MacDonald worked for Republic Bank Dallas, the Vandervoorte law firm in Battle Creek Michigan, and is a graduate of Central Michigan University and Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

William M. Thomas

William M. Thomas

Executive Vice President - Corporate Finance

Mr. Thomas is responsible for development and maintenance of the capital requirements of MacDonald Realty Group portfolio real estate, including acquisition, merger, development and refinancing equity. Prior to association with the company, Mr. Thomas held positions with Allied Bank shares of Texas, Integrated Resources, and Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Finner, and Smith and is a graduate of Abilene Christian University.

Richard A. Blacha

Richard A. Blacha

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Blacha controls all financials and corporate accounting. Mr. Blacha is a seasoned controller with over 20 years of real estate accounting experience. He has held various positions with McKenna Blair Management, Princeton Homes Inc., First Texas Savings Association, and Mullen Company. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington and holds a B.B.A. in Accounting.

Vice President – Capital Markets

Mr. Keener has been in financial services industry for over 10 years and is responsible for the development MacDonald Realty Groups capital requirements. He is nationally recognized in the industry as a top producer with superior client relations. Mr. Keener is a graduate of the University of Phoenix.

Executive Vice President

Mr. MacDonald is trained in the business and commercial management fields, is responsible for the daily operational management of all portfolio real estate. Prior to association with the company, Mr. MacDonald administered one of the north Texas sales division of the Wrigley’s company and is a graduate of John Brown University.

Scot A. Clevenger

Scot A. Clevenger

Senior Vice President – Corporate Finance

Mr. Clevenger is responsible for relationships with HNW Individuals, Family Offices and Private Equity Firms for the growth and refinancing capital requirements of MRG Holdings. Prior to association with the company, Mr. Clevenger held executive positions with Integrated Financial, Rainier Capital, Encore Equities, and began his career as an auditor with Alexander Grant & Co. Mr. Clevenger has an MBA from the Price School of Business at the University of Oklahoma.

Josh D. Rader

Senior Vice President – Operations

Mr. Rader is responsible for the daily maintenance management of all commercial and multi-family portfolio real estate. Prior to association with the company, Mr. Rader was a senior operator for the Gold Crown – Dallas Service Company, and is a graduate of Harding University.
